Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film typically in the horror or martial arts genre. The style is similar like The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as an obsession with the genre. Her first review was in 2009 and gained some recognition on their forums under her old username Obscurus Lupa. In 2010 she was a member of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome Family. Beginning in early 2015, she stayed on the site when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed to Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts. One focused on the Charmed Franchise and another co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The appearances she made on Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of shite films for children or RiffTrax as well as occasional adult comedies. She started reviewing movies late in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to be part of the reviewing family. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. Doug Walker along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently be featured in shows like Nostalgia Critic.
